Thanks to Stranger in the Background for a STUPENDOUS find.  Here's the story:

"I found the inspirational/crazy Rolodex notes abandoned on a table at
the restaurant I work at after a particularly busy lunch shift. The
customer who had been sitting there was a middle aged businessman who
had come in a few times before and always been very brusque, bordering
on rude, when ordering. With him was a younger woman who was also
dressed in lower Manhattan financial finery. They were clearly there to discuss Business.

I don't know what these are about, but they were
very neatly held together with a paper clip and there seems to have
been some time put into assembling them.

Strangely, I like the Business man a little more now that I know he
might be a little off his rocker."

Tiny Kite

Reminds me of those "God's Eye" weaving projects we used to do in art class.

Masonic Secret Symbol

Dscn2324

Ok, so this is probably not a Masonic secret symbol.  But I've had no luck figuring it out, and it seems like the sort of thing they would make.

I noticed this rosy marble slab back in October, while walking home from Quizzo.  It's the doorstep of a place called "Grace Hall", but not the crew (rowing) Grace Hall on the Schuylkill River.

Since it's cryptic and made of stone, let's just say it's the Masons and leave it at that.

UPDATE: Evil Grape Sword Contest

Dscn2542

Well, I don't know what this is, and apparently you all don't, either.

So, Nicole, you win!  I'm not entirely convinced it's a corkscrew, but I must admit that is more likely than Evil Grape Sword.

Please stay on the line so that we can be sure you get your hideous... Um, that is, FAB-ulous... prize!

Sorry, you don't get to know what it is until it's already on its way to you.

Congratulations, and thanks for playing everyone's favorite game, "WTF Is That Thing?"

Metal Lace

Dscn2453

Part of jewelry?  I don't know.

It's the size of my thumbnail.  I think it looks like ceiling molding to go around a light fixture in an old house.

Contest- Sword for Evil Grapes?

Dscn2542

What the heck is this??

The hilt of a knife?  A letter-opener?  A sword for evil grapes?

But right where a blade would start, you can see that it branches off in a Y shape at the top there.

Convince me of what this is, and you'll probably win something horrible yet fascinating!

Chocolate Washington

Dscn2253

Oh, yeah. They went there.

Dscn2252

100% Chocolate, baby.  Nothing but the best for the father of our country.

Dscn2251

I am informed that there used to be another chocolate historical figure, made out of white chocolate, and "It was the most beautiful one" out of what I can only assume was the Marriot's extensive Chocolate President Collection.

But unfortunately, "One day, a guest put a cup of coffee on top of his protective case, and his hand fell off.  Then they moved Washington to the giftshop."  But of course!  For safe keeping.

"I don't know why they took the white chocolate guy away," the art lover continued, "He looked fine with one hand."

Marzipan Moneymaker

Dscn1646
Yes, this is a man made out of marzipan, with a coin coming out of (going into?) his butt.

He is wearing a tiny hat.

What more do you really need to know?

As far as I can gather, this is some kind of Old World prosperity/New Year's thing.

I'm classifying this as Engrish, even though it has no writing... Because, obviously, something is being communicated here that I'm just not understanding.  Or I hope I'm not understanding.
